What does life sound like? Greek dancer and emerging choreographer Ioanna Paraskevopoulou has long been fascinated by the art of foley. She looks at and considers dance from a radically new angle thanks to her investigations into tone and sound as well as film and photography reviews. In her duet »MOS« she creates a sound landscape live on stage with different objects and materials as a dancing tribute to foley artists.
Together with the dancers of Dance Theatre Heidelberg, she is now looking to investigate how different media can be combined and how life on and off stage is different with regard to our sensory perception. What stories do different bodies, movements, sounds and images tell and how do these stories change when we align these media?
